Pool Rules

A Lot Owner, the members of that Owners’ immediate family and the Owner’s guest, may only use The Pool and common areas (provided an Owner accompanies guests). Each Owner shall be individually responsible and assume all risk of loss associated with its use of the Common Area and use by its family members and guests. Pool rules are listed below, and can be found posted in the pool area as well as on the website.

1. Hours of Operation – The pool hours from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to Midnight on Friday and Saturday. The pool hours after Labor Day weekend and before Memorial Day weekend, when the pool is open, are 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The pool is open beginning in April through October.

2. There is no lifeguard on duty. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

3. Children under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an ADULT (18 years or older) when in the pool area.

4. No animals are allowed within the gated pool area. This is a City of Allen ordinance. Violation of this rule could result in closure of the pool.

5. Members or families are allowed up to four (4) guests at one time. Please do not provide non-owners with your key to access the facility unless you will accompany them to the facility.

6. Running in the swimming pool area is not permitted. Rollerblades and skateboards cannot be brought into the facility. Diving or jumping into the pool is not allowed.

7. Proper swimming apparel is required. (i.e. “cut-offs” are not considered proper swimming attire.)

8. The Association is not responsible for alcohol on premises and strongly discourages use of such while I the swimming pool. Glass containers should not be brought into the pool area.

9. DO NOT LITTER. Please take any unconsumed food, beverages or other trash to a trash container or to your home. This will help the association keep the swimming pool area attractive and minimize the possibility of insect infestation.

10. Suntan lotion of any kind clogs the pool filters and requires the use of more chlorine. Please use these lotions as minimally as possible.

11. Persons having skin abrasions, open blisters, cuts, any skin diseases, colds or any communicable disease shall not enter the pool.

12. To insure the health and safety of all members, posted swimming pool rules should be adhered to at all times. Any member or guest displaying conduct that is detrimental to the safety or enjoyment of others will be required to leave the premises and may result in the loss of pool privileges.

13. Please use your key to enter the pool area. If your children are of the appropriate age to go to the pool alone, please make sure they have a pool key. NO ONE is to open the pool door for non-key holders.

14. Please keep the gates (front and back) closed at all times. Do not prop the gates open.

15. The life preservers are at the pool for emergencies only. Please do not use these as playful pool toys.

16. Children that are not potty trained MUST wear a swim diaper. All others must use the restrooms and not the pool to prevent solid or liquid bodily waste from entering into the pool. Pool closure will result from fecal contamination.

17. No grills or cooking are allowed inside the pool area.
